What's going on with uh hotel rooms and Travel and all that so it's uh same Stuff though so um had a good time The major news today we broke it here on The air Sam bankman free Sam bankman Freed this is Sam bankman free do you See him there exiting the courthouse so Maybe a lot of people thought this was Going to happen maybe not as quickly but It has happened what's going on here I Don't think you will now see him in Front of uh either the house committee That wanted to talk to him or the senate Committee that had in fact said they Were going to issue a subpoena and Sam Bankman freed had said he would not Accept that subpoena apparently you know In response to the decision he hugged His parents he Shrugged his shoulders he Was visibly disappointed here he is very Serious charges of Securities fraud and Wire fraud according to the New York Time fraud is fraud and that is exactly What Sam bankman freed is charged with Willful misconduct and fraud across Eight counts caught us all a little Unawares I think that it has happened This quickly obviously Sam bankman freed Andrew has been in the Bahamas he's been Giving interviews to a lot of media Outlets while at the same time refusing To testify in front of the U.S Senate And he seems unfazed essentially by the Collapse of that 32 billion dollar
Crypto company FTX as well as by all the Questions about what he or someone else May have done with billions of dollars Of investors money when we look at the Relations between the Bahamas and the United States they've always been very Friendly and they have stated that they Are looking to seek to extradite him now There is a process by which he can Contest it however I believe that it Will ultimately fail Mm-hmm Okay bye here's mother trucker man Uh well I was even apparently been Arrested the Bahamas so really messes up My trip this weekend to go get him Arrested thanks Sam But you know what At the end of the day action was taken And uh Supposedly FBI is down there too so you Might be coming back to the United States Man oh he stays in jail though I won't Go down there and see him this weekend I'm in jail oh I will for sure I will for sure
