Welcome to Big Boy crypto my name is Ben We got a breaking story uh pretty Interesting if you look at what uh is Going on right now with FTX and I know Y'all are sick of hearing about FTX but This story is massive why it has huge Implications of determining whether we Ever figured out what happened tonight I Want to shout out it's gonna be a quick Video not gonna make it too long Um we're gonna have a much bigger video For this probably on Monday uh when I Get back as a whiteboard video uh Because there's a lot to unpack here but I just want to give you guys the gist of It February 6th I believe it's Monday is A big deal there is going to be a Hearing to determine whether or not FTX Is going to appoint a special uh Investigator I've got what it's called What basically a special investigator an Independent Council Um very similar the independent examiner That's what it's called Uh that's Exactly what we just saw Celsius go Through they just filled the finish the Independent examiner report we've talked A lot about that the last few nights Talked about a little bit today on our Video we did with six figs earlier but The point is this the point is right now What you're seeing is FTX is doing every And what do I mean by FTX I mean John Ray the bankruptcy attorney who also is
The bankruptcy attorney for Enron and Many other cases and he's always invited An independent Examiner but he doesn't Want one for this Why I I think if I were betting man if I Were a betting man I think the reason he doesn't want it is It's going to absolutely uh it's going To absolutely show without a doubt The customer funds are paying for the Attorney for the bankruptcy with two Thousand dollars an hour all the Attorneys work on case multiple multiple Attorneys making that much why is this a Big deal well think about this if we Don't get an independent Examiner And Sam Bateman freed and shout out to Metal on man on Twitter I can't remember If I said it on meta law made on Twitter James Murphy uh he's the guy to go check Out the story from Um he sent me an email giving me the Details is very very interesting stuff We've got more on February 6th uh that You know it's going to break out but the Point is is that if we don't get this And Sam bingman freed pleads guilty or Gets a plea a plea deal we're never Gonna know what happened we're never Going to know if FTX was solvent the day They filed bankruptcy we're never going To know what happened to that 450 Million dollars that got hacked right Tons of other questions we're literally
